We hire professional staff that work with students to do research, education, and grassroots organizing to make real change and win concrete results for students and society as a whole.

North Carolina college students virtually engage their peers on National Voter Registration Day
Raleigh, NC– COVID-19 has reshaped 2020’s election landscape, but that hasn’t stopped the NCPIRG Students New Voters Project from extensive outreach on Tuesday’s National Voter Registration Day. The student-led effort on nine North Carolina campuses to take tried-and-tested campaign tactics and adapt them to reach students in an online world.

As the November elections quickly approach, students in North Carolina are getting ready to mobilize their peers to make sure their voices are heard this election. To prepare, NCPIRG Students has set out to help register hundreds of students to vote this summer in preparation for the November elections, while also laying the groundwork on our campuses to make registering even easier this fall.
